God's Promises - Peace in Our Hearts

"Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give to you;
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
Neither let it be afraid."  John 14:27

"These things have I spoken to you,
That in Me you might have peace.
In this world you shall have tribulation;
But be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world."  John 16:33

"Rejoice in the Lord always.
Again I will say, rejoice.
Let your gentleness be known to all men.
The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing,
But in everything by prayer and supplication,
With thanksgiving,
Let your requests be made known to God,
And the peace of God,
Which surpasses all understanding,
Will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
