Day 40

We took a trip up to Dallas to have one last family gathering in my grandparents and my great-grandma, Goggy's, house. Goggy bought the house 58 years ago. It's gone thorough a complete renovation and addition.  This house contains lots and lots of wonderful memories.  Bobby and I lived next door to this house for a year (and I have to say those were the BEST NEIGHBORS EVER). This house is hard to let go of but it's time for my grandparents to move into a simpler community. I was going to take a picture of the house but my grandma took one after their latest snowfall and I have to say it looks quite lovely with the snow.

Birthday Girl

I'm going to have an 11 year old tomorrow.  WHAT?!?  I am not ready for that.  So many changes, so many hormones, so much attitude.. Oh but she is such a delight.  Trin is my planner.  She will NOT forget ANYTHING, which comes in handy for me because I forget everything..  She's a book worm.  Very crafty and creative.  Plays the piano.  Loves mysteries.  She's a problem solver.  She loves finding new recipes to try.  Can recognize a song and what movie it is from. A board game lover.  She's a talker. And she's very inclusive to everyone.  I'm blessed to have her as my daughter!
