6

Today was a long and exhausting day so creativity was set on the back burner.  The day started with a dentist appointment in downtown Austin at 8am.  I read an article a few months ago that I need to find but Austin was listed #3 out of all the cities in the U.S. for worst traffic. :-/  Traffic was horrible but I passed a beautiful sunrise over the lake just before my exit. I wanted to turn around to try and snap a picture but knowing how slow my dental office is, I needed to make it there early or risk waiting forever.   I arrived early only to wait an hour in order to be informed that the crown they were going to put on me was lost in the mail somewhere.  Really?? This is the second visit to get this crown put on... The first time I went in the color was too yellow.  I don't mind having a crown that is too white but one that is too yellow?  Hopefully they will find the corrected crown in the mail soon!!

We have a friend, Landon, visiting us from Colorado and are enjoying our time with him.  We drove down to San Antonio in the afternoon to look at some model homes and drove by Canyon Lake.  All in all the day was fun just a bit busy.

fluoride

So awhile back I wrote about having issues with my thyroid. I did some research and learned that fluoride and chlorine deplete your iodine levels and the thyroid which regulates your energy level needs adequate iodine to produce energy. The city we live in has high levels of fluoride and we were cautioned to use non-fluoridated water for children who are growing their adult teeth (my oldest girls). We buy fluoride free toothpaste as well as using bottled water but are still exposed to the high levels of fluoride during showers and baths. Maybe that's why our hair is thinning in our late 20's...

This morning I received an email with this link. Hope this info is helpful to you.

Unpacking

What's on my mind? Unpacking.. What am I avoiding? Unpacking..

I am not doing so well this time around with unpacking. I started staining the fence last week mostly because the outside is clean and in order. The inside however is another story. I am SO very tired. I went to the dentist last week and was informed I have a tooth abscess and need two root canals. I already know I need two more on the other side of my mouth.. The dentist's quote for the work was $8,000...........
Anyway, the antibiotics I'm on for the abscess might be the cause of this extreme tiredness I'm feeling, not to mention I have to take the pills every 6 hours causing me to set my alarm for the middle of the night to take one. Today I woke up, ate breakfast and was ready for a nap. Praying for some energy and a solution to my on going teeth problem. I have been doing some research on Celiac Disease for numerous reasons. I've found that tooth decay is one symptom of the disease. I remember going to the dentist when I was 16. The tech was impressed with how clean my teeth were and she thought I wouldn't have any cavities. When the x-rays came back they showed I had 10 cavities and needed one root canal. The dentist and tech were shocked. He asked me why my teeth were decaying so much. Maybe I can figure out that reason.

My Teeth and Avon

I am one of those unlucky ones who has inherited bad teeth. I have many fillings, one root canal that is finished and one root canal that is unfinished (I've had a temporary filling for 2 years). Two of my fillings have recently fallen out. It's time to go to the dentist!

I just started selling Avon to help earn some money so I can afford to go.
