I guess it's been awhile since I wrote anything. Things have been busy here. We moved J's crib into D's room this weekend. The first night as Bobby and I walked out both boys started crying. I calmed D down by telling him he's a big brother and needs to help his little brother. He's now proud of that roll and trys to console his brother and play with him through the crib railings. Now that J's crib is out of our closet we've realized how huge our closet is. I had to measure it - 8' by 9', that's crazy for a closet. Since it has a window and a vent (for heat and a/c) we're going to use the space for a quiet room :D Maybe I can set up my sewing machine in there.
We had a friend, Landon, from the youth group in CO who's now attending a College in TX come and visit us two weekends ago. We enjoyed our time of pumpkins, football, and talking :)
Our van is not doing so well. Recently we had some work done on it, $750 of work that is, even then it's struggling. It's running so bad we don't want to put the kids in it. Since our main thoroughfare is I-35 we'd hate to get stranded on the side of the highway with the kids. If you know anything about I-35 it's congested with semis and lots of traffic. It's been a good van!
This morning I cut up some jalapenos then without washing my hands I touched my face under my nose and my lips, wow.... These last jalapenos we bought have been really hot! I love it! After being up north for so long I ENJOY this hot spicy food! Bobby is actually enjoying it too! That may have something to do with the pepper he ate while working landscaping last year with a few Hispanic guys. They tricked him into eating a pepper. Come to find out the description of that pepper is "sering acid heat".
Three years ago my sister bought me "The Mark Of The Lion" series by Francine Rivers. In one week I read the first two books, that's almost 1,000 pages. It thought I'd take a little break until I read the third. They are great books!! I love to read it's hard for me to find time. I obiviously can find time but in doing so I neglect things like laundry....
I'll get some pictures up soon :D
