Sorry all, I just realized we haven't updated in awhile. Things are going well. We went to Dallas last weekend to celebrate K's birthday with our families. It was nice to see everyone but very tiring. K really wanted a lady bug cake, so my grandma found one that was a pull apart cake made with cupcakes. It was really cute. Maybe I'll get a picture up.
We're taking our 'spring break' from school this week. I need it! It seems like the current stage Jordan is in is one that requires most of my attention, making teaching difficult. I have to leave out a bunch of toys which he gets bored of quickly and goes on to bigger and better things, turning the house into a complete disaster by the time school is done. T is doing well in all subjects except math. I have found with her that if I take a break from a subject for a few weeks and come back to it she's ready. I love being able to work with her. My goal is to make learning fun, interesting and not a chore of any kind.
K is learning quickly. We're working on reading and writing. She's very quick at math. I'm still trying to figure out her learning style and what works best for her. I have figured out her personality to some extent, which is like mine (oh boy...).
D has been sitting with us during school time. He wants papers and pencils like his sisters. He's really smart and becoming more clear with his speech but still reverts to "D language". I guess you would have to hear him to really understand what that means.
J is fun and funny. We're learning sign language with all the kids. The first sign J learned was "no". He would sign it and laugh. He thought it was so funny. His favorite room of the house is the pantry, it's a pretty cool pantry since it's under the stairs and really long and dark. He has figured out how to get into the food though. He came up to me the other day saying and signing 'more'. I asked him, "more what?" then I saw his hands were orange and smelt like Doritos...
They are all so fun and unique! Homeschool is a challenge with the younger ones but so rewarding. I'm tired most days but very blessed.
Thank you for all your prayers and support!!!! We are so very grateful for all of you!!!
